Elissa Cuellar is a Houston-based actor, and the

writer, director and executive producer of Secret Lies

of the Gossip Teen. After graduating with a BFA in

acting from the University of Houston, Elissa hoped

to use her skills to provide herself and other young

artists like her with the opportunities and hands-on

experience needed to launch their careers. The

formation of Says Who? and debut of the series

Secret Lies marks the first realization of that dream.

In addition to extensive stage-acting experience,

Ms. Cuellar has a particular love of acting for the

screen. She plans to pursue her passion for comedy

in film and continue to self-produce her and others’

work in the future.
